Ravi Teja-starrer 'Raja The Great' to make its TV premier this Sankranthi | Tollywood | Ravi Teja | Raja | Tollywood news | New Release

Tollywood's Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja returned with a bang last year with 'Raja The Great'. The film, which had a good run at the box office, provided a much-needed boost to Ravi Teja, after a string of flops threatened to derail his career. 'Raja The Great' will now be making its
worldwide Television premier this Sankranthi
The film will be aired on a leading Telugu channel this Sunday, January 14, at 6:30 pm.

Confirming the same, the channel posted on twitter, "Welcome to Raja's World This Sanrakthi RajaTheGreat World Television Premiere..This Sunday (Jan 14th) at 6:30 PM (sic)."

The film, which released in October 2017, had opened to positive reviews and reaped rewards at the box-office, having collected nearly Rs 50 crore within eight days of its release. Given that the film came on the backdrop of a string of flops for Ravi Teja, including 'Power' (2014), 'Kick 2' (2015) and 'Bengal Tiger' (2015) — 'Raja The Great' assumes special significance in Ravi Teja's career. Another reason why 'Raja The Great' is special to the Mass Maharaja, is because his son Mahadhan made his debut as a child artist in the film.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film also featured Mehreen Pirzada in an important role.
